Last February, the second General Assembly of the Project cvREMOD took place in UPF, Barcelona. In this assembly, more than 70 people of 19 entities presented their advances generated during the first year of the project. Several medical applications are being developed to improve the diagnostic and treatment of cardiovascular pathologies, which is one of the most common causes of death in the world today.
The second edition of the Symposium on R & D in ICT and Health for research groups, companies, and technology centers has taken place in Girona, on 4 and 5 May. This symposium has brought together relevant stakeholders in ICT and health of Catalonia and France with the aim of bringing ICT to supply the needs of health centers, identify the main trends in the industry and known cases of innovation in the region.
