Two new projects started at IDIBAPS

IDIBAPS ( August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute ) is a consortium that focuses on translational research, innovation and technological progress in the field of biomedicine to minimize the barriers between laboratories and the treatment of patients. It comprises 4 institutions: Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, University of Barcelona School of Medicine, The CSIC's Barcelona Biomedical Research Institute and Catalan Ministry of Economy and Knowledge. On March, two master students started two projects at the medical imaging platform of IDIABPS. The first one is focusing on quantification of TAC images in cerebral ischemia. The second one focuses on quantification of radiotherapy treated patients. These two projects are being developed using GIMIAS framework and with the collaboration of GMIAS team.
