GIMIAS is developed by the Center for Computational Imaging and Simulation Technologies in Biomedicine (CISTIB) Scientific Development Team. CISTIB is a lab from the department of Technology of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) of Barcelona, Spain.
The research carried out at CISTIB is focused on computational techniques for artificial vision in the domains of surveillance, biometrics and medical image computing.
